Mark Angelo's post on Parallels and Symantec
Mark Angelo, CEO of Lanamark, and I were exchanging messages and he pointed out one of his posts which can be found here. I thought he had some intriguing ideas and that you might find them interesting as well.
In his post, Mark runs through some of Symantec’s acquisitions and came to the consulsion that the company was building a complete suite of virtualization technology. He points out that this is quite similar to what Citrix was doing when it acquired XenSource in 2007.
He points out that a key component is missing - virtual machine technology. He’s suggesting that Parallels might be a good merger/acquistion target.
Do you agree?
