Find out how engaged you are in your community with Engage Rank

I love services that try to analyze social data.

My friend Lisa Brewster, along with David Horn, have been working on a new service called Engage Rank that figures out metrics for social media.

Based on the number of @replies each user sends and receives, Engage Rank classifies users into one of four categories: Mavens, Connectors, Consumers, and Ineffectuals. The first two are from Gladwell’s Tipping Point, and the last two come from Horn’s presentation at the top of this post.

You should play around with it, and see where you rank. You can also login to the service and have it analyze your friends ranks.
